Scholarships.
The Enlisted Association of National Guard Bureau (EANGB) will award scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 to EANGB members and their dependents. Total number of scholarships will be based on contributions to the program. This scholarship is for post-secondary education, and previous winners cannot apply. Winners will be selected based on merit. Awards are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, USAA and private donations.

EANGUS provides scholarships to select students as a part of our mission to foster educational opportunities for National Guard service members and their families.
There are two types of scholarships available. The CSM Virgil R. Williams and the Patriot Scholarships are paid by EANGUS directly to the school the selectee is attending. The second type of scholarship is presented by specific universities that EANGUS has partnered with. The tabs below provide details for each scholarship along with the requirements, please review each tab to determine which scholarship(s) are the most appropriate for your future, prior to applying. If at any time you have questions, please contact scholarship@eangus.org and someone will respond to your inquiry or request for assistance.
If you are an EANGB (EANGUS) member and did not opt out, you are also a member of AUSA (Association of the United States Army) at no charge. You are eligible for these scholarships, regardless of component affiliation!
The Association of the U.S. Army is accepting applications for more than $304,000 in national scholarships in 2025, with 40 scholarships awarded by AUSA and seven administered by the association in conjunction with the Army.
Scholarship applications will be accepted online until May 5. Those selected to receive an AUSA national scholarship will be notified in late June.
